INGREDIENTS: YIELD:1 QUART
- 1 cup sugar
- 1½ pounds fresh strawberries
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Place the sugar and strawberries in a medium bowl and stir until the sugar dissolves. Cover and refrigerate until cool.
- Purée the strawberry mixture in a food processor or blender with the lemon juice until smooth.
- Add the mixture to an ice cream maker and follow the manufacturer’s instructions for freezing
