Wonderful Memphis-Style Dry Rub BBQ

Good on ribs, chops, or chicken, and far lower-carb than barbecue sauce.

YIELD: Enough for 3 1/2 pounds of ribs, or about 3 servings

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Mix all the ingredients together, and store the mixture in a salt shaker.
  2. Sprinkle on both sides of whatever meat you’re cooking, and grill.

 

PER SERVING:

  •  2 grams of carbohydrates and 1 gram of fiber, for a total of 1 gram of usable carbs and no protein.
