INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 cup of milk with 1 egg inside (egg placed in the cup, then filled with milk)
  • 1/3 cup of water
  • ¼ cup olive oil or oil
  • 1 and ¾ teaspoon of salt
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 and ½ tbsp dried granular yeast
  • 4 cups of flour
  • 1 egg yolk for brushing
  • 2 jars of cream cheese
  • 15 slices of turkey breast, cut into 4 pieces

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Mix the dough ingredients with your hands until smooth. Form small dough balls and place them on a floured surface. Set aside.
  2. Roll out each dough ball into a square using a rolling pin. Cut squares of approximately 10 X 10 cm.
  3. Place a piece of turkey breast and 1 teaspoon of cream cheese in the center of each dough square.
  4. Fold the dough over the filling to form a triangle, sealing the edges. Brush the tops with egg yolk and set aside.
  5. Preheat the air fryer to 200°C (390°F) for 5 minutes.
  6. Place 6 units in the air fryer basket and bake at 180°C (350°F) for 4-5 minutes. Repeat until all pastries are cooked.
  7. Once done, the pillow pastries should be golden and crispy on the outside.
  8. Serve these delicious cream cheese and turkey pillow pastries as a delectable appetizer or snack.
