Sweet and plump raisins are soaked in tummy-warming rum in this decadent
adult treat.

INGREDIENTS:

  • ¾ cup raisins, chopped
  • ¼ cup dark rum
  • 2 cups cream
  • 2 cups half and half
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon fresh-grated nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Rums, Light to Dark

YIELD: 1 QUART

INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Soak raisins in dark rum overnight.
  • Stir everything together.
  • Refrigerate for 2 hours.
  • Add to ice cream maker and follow manufacturer’s instructions for freezing.
