Sweet and plump raisins are soaked in tummy-warming rum in this decadent
adult treat.
INGREDIENTS:
- ¾ cup raisins, chopped
- ¼ cup dark rum
- 2 cups cream
- 2 cups half and half
- ¾ cup sugar
- ¼ teaspoon fresh-grated nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Rums, Light to Dark
YIELD: 1 QUART
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Soak raisins in dark rum overnight.
- Stir everything together.
- Refrigerate for 2 hours.
- Add to ice cream maker and follow manufacturer’s instructions for freezing.
