We prefer to use our homemade vegan Cream Cheese and homemade vegan Mayo recipes for this, but if you’re in a time crunch, store-bought works perfectly. Serve this hot or cold and with anything you’d like—we love pita bread, carrots, tortilla chips or vegan crackers.

INGREDIENTS:

  • Canola or olive oil (or spray version), for baking dish
  • 1 cup (226 g) vegan Cream Cheese or store-bought (nut-free and/or soy-free if needed)
  • ½ cup (113 g) vegan Mayo or store-bought (soy-free if needed)
  • 4½ packed cups (135 g) fresh spinach, chopped
  • ¼ cup (20 g) nutritional yeast
  • 1½ tsp (7 ml) lemon juice
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ⅛ tsp freshly ground black pepper

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and oil an 8 x 8–inch (20 x 20–cm) baking dish with canola or olive oil.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the vegan cream cheese, vegan mayo, chopped fresh spinach, nutritional yeast, lemon juice, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all the ingredients are thoroughly combined.
  3. Spread the spinach dip evenly in the prepared baking dish.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the dip is hot and bubbly, with a lightly browned top.
  5. Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving. You can serve it with your choice of crackers, bread, or fresh vegetables for dipping.
