CHOCOLATE-HAZELNUT SMOOTHIE

Chocolate plus hazelnuts. Need I say more? Banana and protein powder make this decadent-tasting smoothie creamy and nourishing.

MAKES: 3 1/2 cups (About 3 servings)

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 cups plain hazelnut milk (sweetened)
  • 2 very ripe large bananas
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup unflavored protein powder (such as pea or rice)
  • 4 ice cubes
  • 2 tablespoons agave nectar
  • 1 teaspoon hazelnut or vanilla extract
  • 1/8 teaspoon kosher salt

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. ADD all of the ingredients to a high-speed blender.
  2. PUREE until smooth, about 30 seconds.
  3. POUR into glasses and serve immediately.
