INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/8 cup diced red onion
  • 1 teaspoon chopped fresh garlic
  • 1/4 cup diced Roma tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup diced cooked bacon
  • 1 cup sliced cooked chicken
  • Salt, pepper, and garlic salt, to taste
  • 1 ounce heavy cream
  • 1/8 cup Asiago cheese
  • 1 (16-ounce) jar of Ragu Alfredo sauce
  • 1 (16-ounce) box cooked bowtie pasta

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. In a heated sauté pan, combine melted butter, diced red onion, chopped garlic, diced tomatoes, diced bacon, sliced cooked chicken, salt, pepper, and garlic salt.
  2. Sauté the mixture for about 3-4 minutes until the onions turn translucent.
  3. Add the heavy cream and Asiago cheese to the pan. Allow the cheese and cream to reduce for about 6-8 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Add the Ragu Alfredo sauce and cooked bowtie pasta to the pan. Toss and combine well to coat the pasta with the sauce.
  5. Allow the pasta to cool for a few minutes to allow the sauce and cheese to thicken.
