INGREDIENTS:
- 1 pound (61-90) thawed shrimp
- Vegetable oil, as needed
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons divided fresh cracked black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup bread crumbs
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Clean the shrimp and peel them, leaving the tails intact.
- Fill a fryer or a deep pot with vegetable oil, around 2-3 inches deep. Heat the oil to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, combine the flour, salt, 1 teaspoon of cracked black pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and sugar.
