This classic southern barbecue sauce is used as a condiment for grilled food rather than an on-grill flavoring. Easy to make, we use ours on
everything from pulled pork sandwiches to roasted potatoes or grilled veggies. Whole grain mustard adds texture and bite to the creamy
mayonnaise, which is made piquant by the addition of both garlic and horseradish. It’s most delicious on barbecued chicken, and we
particularly like to brush finished chicken kebabs with this sauce. You can make this sauce ahead and keep in the refrigerator for up to two weeks

INGREDIENTS:

- 1½ cups (360 ml) mayonnaise
- ¼ cup (60 ml) white wine vinegar
- 1 tbsp (9 g) white pepper
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) whole grain mustard
- 1 tsp (6 g) salt
- 1 tsp (2 g) pimenton (smoked paprika)
- 1 tbsp (14 g) light brown sugar
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 tsp (10 ml) prepared horseradish
INSTRUCTIONS:

- Whisk all the ingredients together in a medium bowl until well combined.
- Refrigerate in a tightly sealed container until ready to use.
- Use as a condiment for barbecue chicken.
