Nothing beats the smooth flavor of peanut butter combined with icy cold
cream. This popular favorite is the perfect filling for chocolate ice cream
sandwiches or a layered ice cream pie.

Ingredients:

    • 1 cup peanut butter
    • 1 cup sugar
    • 2 cups half and half
    • ¾ cups heavy cream
    • Pinch of salt
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • YIELD:1 QUART
  • Peanut Butter:
    • Natural peanut butter is not advised for ice cream recipes.
    • When combined with other ingredients, natural peanut butter will release much of its oil.
    • It is best to stick with commercial brands for your ice cream making.

Instructions:

    1. Combine all ingredients in the food processor and purée until very smooth.
    2. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for 2-4 hours or overnight.
    3. Once chilled, add to ice cream maker and follow manufacturer’s instructions for freezing.
