Olive Garden Angel Hair and Three Onion Soup

Olive Garden has a vast selection of soups. This recipe combines the flavors of pasta with the traditional French onion soup.

Olive Garden’s Angel Hair and Three Onion Soup is a delicious and flavorful dish that combines the sweetness of three types of onions with the delicate texture of angel hair pasta. The soup is cooked in a rich chicken stock, seasoned with salt and a hint of red pepper flakes for a subtle kick of spice. The combination of flavors and textures makes this soup a comforting and satisfying choice.

To prepare the soup, the recipe calls for pearl onions, red onions, and Vidalia onions. These onions are thinly sliced and sautéed in olive oil until they become soft and caramelized, releasing their natural sweetness. This process allows the onions to develop a rich and complex flavor that adds depth to the soup.

Once the onions are sautéed, chicken stock is added to the pot along with salt and a touch of red pepper flakes for a subtle heat. The soup is then simmered for about an hour, allowing the flavors to meld together and create a savory base.

To complete the soup, angel hair pasta is added and cooked until it reaches an al dente texture. The delicate strands of pasta add a light and airy element to the soup, providing a pleasing contrast to the rich broth and sweet onions.

Before serving, the soup is garnished with chopped Italian parsley and a sprinkle of grated Romano cheese. These final touches add freshness and a touch of savory flavor to enhance the overall taste of the dish.
