This is a great way to add a lot of flavor to the usually bland boneless pork loin.
YIELD: 4 generous servings
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 1/2 pounds boneless pork loin, sliced about 1 1/2 inch thick
- 1 batch Looing Sauce
- Scallions, sliced
- Toasted sesame oil
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Put the pork in a slow cooker, pour the cooking sauce over it, cover the cooker, and set it to Low. Forget about it for 8 to 9 hours.
- At dinnertime, remove the pieces of pork from the cooking sauce. Put each piece on a serving plate, scatter a few sliced scallions over each serving, and top with a few drops of toasted sesame oil.
PER SERVING:
- 1 gram of carbohydrates, no fiber, and 35 grams of protein.
