INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 pound (455 g) mushrooms
  • ¼ cup (55 g) unsalted butter
  • 1 cup (235 ml) low-sodium chicken broth
  • ¼ cup (60 ml) white wine
  • 1 tablespoon (1.7 g) marjoram
  • 1 tablespoon (3 g) chives

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Clean the mushrooms and place them in the slow cooker.
  2. In a saucepan, melt the unsalted butter.
  3. Add the chicken broth, white wine, marjoram, and chives to the melted butter. Stir until thoroughly blended.
  4. Pour the butter mixture over the mushrooms in the slow cooker.
  5. Cover the slow cooker and cook on high for 4 hours, allowing the mushrooms to absorb the flavors and become tender.
