This bread is made using our homemade Pizza Dough, topped with vegan butter, garlic salt and vegan cheese shreds; we prefer to use our homemade Mozzarella and Cheddar. It’s the perfect complement to our Detroit-Style Cheese Pizza and Caesar Salad.
Garlic cheese bread is a beloved comfort food that combines the rich flavors of garlic, melted cheese, and warm, toasted bread. This indulgent treat is a popular appetizer or side dish, often served with pasta dishes or as a snack for gatherings and parties. It’s known for its irresistibly cheesy and garlicky taste that’s both satisfying and aromatic.
To make garlic cheese bread, a soft and doughy bread base is typically used, such as pizza dough or French bread. The bread is slathered with a mixture of melted butter and garlic, which infuses the bread with a delightful garlic flavor. Generous amounts of shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese are then sprinkled over the top, creating a gooey, cheesy layer. Additional seasonings like dried basil and oregano can be added for extra flavor.
Once assembled, the bread is baked until the crust turns golden brown, and the cheese becomes bubbly and lightly browned. The result is a pull-apart bread that’s crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and loaded with cheesy goodness. Garlic cheese bread is often served hot and fresh from the oven, making it a crowd-pleaser for cheese and garlic enthusiasts alike.
Whether enjoyed as an appetizer, side dish, or even a quick snack, garlic cheese bread is a delightful indulgence that satisfies cravings for cheesy, garlicky goodness. It’s a comfort food classic that’s perfect for sharing with friends and family on various occasions.
