  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1 loaf (1 pound) Italian bread
  • ½ pound sliced deli turkey
  • ¼ pound sliced Swiss cheese
  • ¼ pound thinly sliced hard salami
  • ¼ pound sliced provolone cheese
  • ¼ pound thinly sliced bologna

 

PREPARATIONS:

  1. In a small bowl, combine the pimiento-stuffed olives, chopped ripe olives, shredded Parmesan cheese, Italian salad dressing, and minced garlic. Set aside.
  2. Cut the Italian bread in half horizontally and carefully hollow out the top and bottom, leaving a 1-inch shell. Discard the removed bread or save it for another use.
  3. Spoon half of the olive mixture over the bottom half of the bread. Layer the turkey, Swiss cheese, hard salami, provolone cheese, bologna, and the remaining olive mixture. Replace the bread top. Cut the sandwich into six wedges.
