This Blueberry Frozen Yogurt is sweet and tangy, and would look amazing served in a chocolate or white chocolate bowl. Add a few fresh berries and a mint sprig, and you’ll deliver an impressive looking and tasting dessert.

INGREDIENTS: YIELD: 1 QUART

  • 4 cups blueberries
  • Juice and zest of ½ lemon
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. In a small bowl, combine the blueberries, lemon juice and zest, and sugar. Stir and allow to macerate at room temperature for 1–2 hours.
  2. After blueberries are ready, place all ingredients in a blender or food processor, and blend until smooth.
  3. Add to ice cream maker and follow manufacturer’s instructions for freezing.
