This Blueberry Frozen Yogurt is sweet and tangy, and would look amazing served in a chocolate or white chocolate bowl. Add a few fresh berries and a mint sprig, and you’ll deliver an impressive looking and tasting dessert.
INGREDIENTS: YIELD: 1 QUART
- 4 cups blueberries
- Juice and zest of ½ lemon
- ¾ cup sugar
- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
INSTRUCTIONS:
- In a small bowl, combine the blueberries, lemon juice and zest, and sugar. Stir and allow to macerate at room temperature for 1–2 hours.
- After blueberries are ready, place all ingredients in a blender or food processor, and blend until smooth.
- Add to ice cream maker and follow manufacturer’s instructions for freezing.
