INGREDIENTS: YIELD: 1 QUART
- ½ cup heavy cream
- 1½ cups favorite breakfast cereal
- 2 cups half and half
- ½ cup sugar
- Pinch salt
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Bring heavy cream to a boil, then pour over cereal. Stir and allow to sit for 1 hour. Strain over a large bowl and discard cereal.
- Add half and half, sugar, and salt. Stir and refrigerate until cold, at least 2 hours.
- Add to ice cream maker and follow manufacturer’s instructions for freezing.
