YIELD: Roughly 3/4 cup (enough for a dozen boneless, skinless chicken breasts or a couple of pounds of shrimp)
INGREDIENTS:
- 1/3 cup lime juice (bottled is fine)
- 1/3 cup water
- 3 tablespoons tequila
- 1 tablespoon Splenda
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Combine the ingredients, and store in the refrigerator until ready to use.
PER SERVING:
- 13 grams of carbohydrates and 1 gram of fiber, for a total of 12 grams of usable carbs and no protein, but since you drain most of the marinade off, you won’t get more than a gram or two of carbs total.
