INGREDIENTS:

  • 2½ pounds tilapia fillets
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Creole seasoning
  • 1 cup Alfredo sauce
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 finely minced garlic cloves
  • ¾ pound shelled shrimp
  • Parmesan cheese, for garnish

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F. Wash and dry the tilapia fillets and spread olive oil and Creole seasoning on them, to taste.
  2. Place the seasoned tilapia fillets in a well-oiled baking pan and bake for 8–10 minutes, until just cooked through and white.
  3. While the fish is baking, warm the Alfredo sauce in a small pan over low heat, stirring occasionally to prevent burning.
  4. In a separate fry pan, melt 4 tablespoons of butter. Add the finely minced garlic and shrimp, and sauté for about 5 minutes until the shrimp turn pink and are fully cooked.
  5. Remove the baked tilapia fillets from the oven. Carefully place the fillets onto individual serving plates.
  6. Top each tilapia fillet with the cooked shrimp and drizzle about ¼ cup of warm Alfredo sauce over each serving.
  7. Sprinkle each plate with grated Parmesan cheese for added flavor and garnish.
  8. Optionally, dust a little more Creole seasoning over the top to enhance the dish’s spiciness.
