  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 jar (15 ounces) Alfredo sauce
  • 2 1/2 cups sliced fresh shiitake mushrooms
  • 1 can (3.8 ounces) sliced ripe olives, drained
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped sun-dried tomatoes (not packed in oil)
  • 1 1/4 cups (5 ounces) crumbled blue cheese
  • 3 tablespoons minced fresh basil or 3 teaspoons dried basil
  • 2 tablespoons minced fresh thyme or 2 teaspoons dried thyme
  • 12 slices provolone cheese
  • 3 ounces Parmesan cheese, shaved into strips or 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

 

PREPARATION:

  1. Roll the thawed bread dough into two 16×10-inch rectangles and transfer them to ungreased baking sheets. Build up the edges slightly.
  2. In a large skillet, cook the chopped bacon over medium heat until crisp. Remove the bacon to paper towels, reserving 2 tablespoons of drippings. Sprinkle the chicken strips with blackened seasoning and cook them in the reserved drippings until no longer pink. Add the shallots and minced garlic, and cook for an additional minute. Set aside.
