SEASONED FLOUR
- 2 cups flour
- 4 teaspoons paprika
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon pepper
- ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
BATTER
- 1/3 cup cornstarch
- 1½ cups flour
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic
- 2 teaspoons paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 24 ounces beer
- 1 Vidalia or Texas sweet onion
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Preheat oil in a deep fryer to 375°F.
- In a shallow bowl, combine all seasoned flour ingredients.
- Prepare the batter: mix cornstarch, flour, and seasonings until well blended. Add the beer and mix well.
