INGREDIENTS:

  • 6 cups of shredded Sargento 6 Cheese Italian Blend
  • 3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 tablespoons grated Romano cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning blend
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 6 diced Roma tomatoes
  • Fresh minced parsley or basil
  • 1 loaf of fresh Italian bread

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Preheat the oven to 450°F.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the shredded Sargento 6 Cheese Italian Blend, grated Parmesan cheese, grated Romano cheese, sour cream, Italian seasoning blend, and red pepper flakes until well combined.
  3. Spray a medium casserole dish with nonstick spray. Spread the cheese mixture evenly in the dish using a large spoon.
  4. Bake the casserole on the center rack of the oven for 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and slightly bubbly on the edges.
  5. Garnish the melted cheese with diced Roma tomatoes and fresh minced parsley or basil.
  6. Slice the loaf of fresh Italian bread into ¼″–½″ thick slices and place them on a lightly greased baking sheet.
  7. Bake the bread slices for about 5 minutes, or until toasted.
  8. Serve the baked cheese casserole with the toasted Italian bread slices as a dip or appetizer. Enjoy!
