This recipe is a skillet hash filled with meat and cheese. It is a great way to use leftover baked potatoes.

IHOP’s Loaded Country Hash Brown Potatoes are a delicious and indulgent breakfast or brunch option that combines crispy hash browns with a variety of savory toppings. These potatoes are prepared with a medley of flavors and textures, creating a satisfying and hearty dish.

To make the Loaded Country Hash Brown Potatoes, the first step is to dice cold baked potatoes, leaving the skin on for added texture and taste. The diced potatoes are then cooked in a frying pan with cooking oil, creating crispy and golden-brown hash browns.

The potatoes are seasoned with Lawry’s Seasoned Salt, adding a savory and seasoned flavor to the dish. This seasoning enhances the taste of the potatoes and complements the other toppings that will be added later.

Next, the cooked and diced breakfast meat, which can be bacon, sausage, or ham, is added to the pan. This adds a rich and savory element to the dish, further enhancing the overall flavor profile.

To enhance the taste and provide a delightful combination of flavors, cooked and diced onions and green peppers are also incorporated. These vegetables add a touch of freshness and a subtle tangy note to the dish.

To complete the loaded experience, the hash brown potatoes are topped with shredded American cheese. As the dish simmers with a lid on, the cheese melts and becomes gooey, creating a luscious and indulgent layer on top of the potatoes.

After simmering for 6-8 minutes, the Loaded Country Hash Brown Potatoes are ready to be served. The potatoes are warm, crispy, and loaded with delicious toppings, making them a satisfying and flavorful breakfast or brunch option.
