INGREDIENTS:

  • 4 thin boneless pork loin chops
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • ½ cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon marjoram
  • 1 cup plain breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • Oil for misting or cooking spray

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Begin by rubbing the lemon juice into all sides of the pork loin chops, ensuring the meat is well coated.
  2. Mix the flour, salt, and marjoram together to create the flour mixture.
  3. Spread the flour mixture on a sheet of wax paper, creating an even surface for coating.
  4. On another sheet of wax paper, lay out the plain breadcrumbs.
  5. Take each pork loin chop and first roll it in the flour mixture, ensuring an even coating. Then dip the floured chop in the beaten eggs, followed by rolling it in the breadcrumbs. Press the breadcrumbs onto the chop to create a generous and uniform coating. Mist all sides of the breaded chop with oil or a light cooking spray.
  6. Preheat your air fryer and spray the basket with nonstick cooking spray.
  7. Place the breaded pork loin chops in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  8. Cook the chops at 390°F (199°C) for 7 minutes. After 7 minutes, turn the chops over, give them another mist of oil or cooking spray, and continue cooking for an additional 7 to 8 minutes. The goal is to achieve a crispy and golden-brown exterior while ensuring the pork is well done and thoroughly cooked.
