Just as light and fluffy as regular royal icing, this vegan version is egg-free.
MAKES: about ½ cup
PREP TIME: 10 minutes
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 cup icing sugar, sifted
- 1 Tbsp almond milk or water
- 2 tsp white corn syrup
- ¼ tsp almond extract
INSTRUCTIONS:
- In a medium bowl, stir together the icing sugar and almond milk until smooth.
- Beat in the corn syrup and almond extract until the icing is smooth and glossy.
- If the icing is too thick, beat in a little more water ¼ teaspoon at a time.
CHANGE IT UP:
- Substitute your favourite flavouring—we like rum extract or rose water—for the almond extract.
