MAKES: ABOUT 1¾ CUPS

  • 1½ cups strong brewed coffee
  • 2 tablespoons Tabasco sauce, preferably Original Red or Chipotle, or other hot pepper sauce
  • 1 tablespoon packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt or coarse sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Combine Ingredients: In a small bowl, combine the strong brewed coffee, Tabasco sauce, packed brown sugar, kosher salt, and freshly ground black pepper.
  2. Mix Well: Stir the ingredients together until the brown sugar is fully dissolved and all the components are well integrated.
  3. Use or Store: You can use the marinade immediately, or if you’re not using it right away, store it in a covered container in the refrigerator. It can be kept for up to a week.
  4. Marinate the Meat: Pour the marinade over the beef, ensuring it’s evenly coated.
