  1. Begin by seasoning the salmon steaks with ½ teaspoon of ground turmeric and salt. Set them aside while you prepare the gravy.
  2. In a large skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of coconut oil over medium heat. Add the salmon steaks and cook for about 2 minutes per side, or until they are lightly seared. Transfer the seared salmon to a separate bowl.
