INGREDIENTS:

  • 6 ounces butter-flavored oil
  • 8 ounces mushrooms
  • 12 ounces grilled chicken
  • 2 teaspoons basil
  • ¾ cup caramelized onions
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • ¾ cup cooking wine
  • 1 (16-ounce) container heavy cream
  • 1 (16-ounce) box rigatoni pasta
  • ¼ cup Parmesan cheese
  • Parsley, for garnish

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. In a hot sauté pan, add the butter-flavored oil, mushrooms, grilled chicken, basil, caramelized onions, salt, and pepper. Sauté for approximately 60-90 seconds, until the ingredients are heated through.
  2. Add the cooking wine to the pan and sauté for another 60 seconds.
  3. Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a boil over high heat. Let it simmer for a few minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  4. Meanwhile, dip the precooked rigatoni pasta in boiling water for 10 seconds and then drain it thoroughly.
  5. Add the drained pasta to the sauté pan and sauté it with the sauce for 3-4 minutes, ensuring it is well coated. Toss the pasta briefly over the fire.
  6. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the pasta and continue tossing until the cheese is completely incorporated into the sauce.
  7. Transfer the pasta to a serving plate and garnish with parsley.
