The only way to make this frozen yogurt any better is to serve it alongside a piping hot piece of peach pie. Indulge!
INGREDIENTS: YIELD: 1 QUART
- 4 cups fresh or frozen peaches, peeled and chopped
- ⅔ cup sugar
- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 1 teaspoon ginger
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
INSTRUCTIONS:
- In a small bowl, combine the peaches and sugar. Stir and allow to macerate at room temperature for 1-2 hours.
- After the peaches are ready, place all ingredients in a blender or food processor and blend until smooth.
- Add the mixture to an ice cream maker and follow the manufacturer’s instructions for freezing.
