Instructions:

  2. Add the broccoli, onion, garlic, basil, oregano, and red pepper flakes to the pot and cook until the vegetables are tender, about 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in the chicken broth, diced tomatoes, penne pasta, and 1 cup of water. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover the pot and let it simmer for about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is cooked and the sauce has thickened.
  5. Stir in the grated parmesan cheese. Serve hot and enjoy!
