You’ll find the pop of citrus in this sorbet the perfect pick-me-up after a hot day or as a welcome treat to end a summer barbecue.
INGREDIENTS: YIELD: 1 QUART
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 cups water
- ¾ cup freshly squeezed lime juice
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Place the sugar and 1 cup of the water in a small pot, and stir over medium heat until all of the sugar is dissolved. Allow to cool.
- Combine the cooled sugar mixture with the lime juice and remaining 1 cup of water. Cover and refrigerate until cool.
- Add the mixture to an ice cream maker and follow the manufacturer’s instructions for freezing.
