  • Miniature chocolate chips or raisins (for the eyes)
  • Red licorice or fruit leather (for the hat and scarf)
  • Candy decorations (for the buttons and belt)
  • Powdered sugar (for dusting, optional)

 

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Activate the yeast:

  • In a small bowl, combine the warm milk and 1 tablespoon of sugar. Stir to dissolve the sugar.
  • Sprinkle the yeast over the milk mixture and let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until it becomes frothy. This indicates that the yeast is active.

2. Mix the dry ingredients:

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, remaining sugar, and salt.

3. Combine the wet ingredients:

4. Mix the dough:

  • Shape the smaller portion into a round ball for Santa’s head and place it on top of the body.

8. Second rise:
