If you like fresh donut holes then you will definitely like these little bite-sized pancake balls rolled in powdered sugar. Serve with a small bowl of syrup for dipping.

Denny’s Pancake Puppies are a delightful and indulgent treat offered by the popular American diner chain, Denny’s. These bite-sized morsels are made from a sweet pancake batter that is filled with delicious ingredients like chopped dried blueberries and finely chopped white chocolate chips. They are then deep-fried to a golden brown perfection, creating a crispy exterior while maintaining a fluffy and tender interior.

To prepare Denny’s Pancake Puppies, the batter is made using Aunt Jemima Original Pancake Mix, milk, and an egg. The addition of dried blueberries adds a burst of fruity flavor, while the white chocolate chips provide a creamy and sweet contrast. The batter is allowed to sit for a few minutes, allowing it to thicken and develop its flavors.

Once the batter is ready, it’s time to fry the Pancake Puppies. The oil in a deep fryer is preheated, ensuring that the puppies cook evenly and develop a crispy outer coating. An ice cream scoop coated with oil is used to portion out the batter, creating small batter balls that are dropped into the hot oil. The puppies are cooked for a few minutes until they turn a dark brown color, indicating that they are perfectly fried.

After frying, the Pancake Puppies are drained on paper towels to remove excess oil. To add a touch of sweetness and presentation, they are dusted with powdered sugar, giving them an irresistible appeal. These little bites of pancake goodness are often served in a basket, making them ideal for sharing or enjoying as a sweet snack or dessert.

Denny’s Pancake Puppies offer a playful twist on traditional pancakes and are loved by diners of all ages. They make for a fun and delicious treat that can be enjoyed on their own or dipped in maple syrup, chocolate sauce, or other sweet toppings of your choice. With their combination of crispy exterior, fluffy interior, and flavorful fillings, Denny’s Pancake Puppies are a delightful addition to the menu and a treat that keeps customers coming back for more.
