INGREDIENTS:
- 1 batch Crispy Seitan (soy-free if needed)
- 6 slices store-bought vegan Cheddar cheese (nut-free and/or soy-free if needed)
- 6 vegan hamburger buns
- 18 sandwich pickles
- 18 pieces iceberg lettuce
- 6 tbsp (90 g) vegan Ranch Dressing or store-bought, plus more if desired (nut-free and/or soy-free if needed)
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Working in batches if necessary, place each piece of Crispy Seitan in a large, lidded sauté pan over medium-low heat.
- Top each piece of seitan with a slice of vegan Cheddar cheese.
- Cover the pan and cook for 5 to 7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted. Be sure to check occasionally to ensure the bottom of the seitan is not burning, and lower the heat to low if needed.
- Assemble each sandwich by adding a piece of cheese-topped seitan to each bun.
- Layer on 3 pickles and 3 pieces of iceberg lettuce.
- Drizzle 1 tablespoon (15 ml) of vegan Ranch Dressing on top of each sandwich. Feel free to add more dressing to taste if desired.
