Try blending in the morning, and drinking later on—this smoothie will hold. If your bananas are extremely ripe and sweet, you can probably get by with only three tablespoons of agave nectar.
MAKES: 6 CUPS (6 SERVINGS)
INGREDIENTS:
- 3 cups plain unsweetened almond milk
- 3 large very ripe bananas
- 1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons (salted) creamy or chunky peanut butter
- 1/4 cup agave nectar, or to taste
- 4 ice cubes
- 1 tablespoon flaxseeds (whole or ground)
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
INSTRUCTIONS:
- ADD all of the ingredients to a high-speed blender.
- PUREE until smooth, about 40 seconds.
