Feel free to use your favorite lemon-lime soda here, even diet if you prefer. It won’t save a lot of calories, but you can feel a little better about eating a second scoop.
INGREDIENTS: YIELD: 1 QUART
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 (12-ounce) can lemon-lime soda
- 1 cup lemon juice
- 1 cup lime juice
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Place the sugar and soda in a small pot, and stir over medium heat until all of the sugar is dissolved. Allow to cool and combine with the lemon and lime juice. Cover and refrigerate until cool.
- Add to ice cream maker and follow manufacturer’s instructions for freezing.
