  1. Trim any excess fat from the pork shoulder and, if needed, cut it into pieces that will fit in your slow cooker.
  2. Place the pork, chopped sweet onion, and minced garlic in the slow cooker.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine the chili sauce, brown sugar, cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, chili powder, and black pepper.
